End to end for entrepeneurs platform
Role: Product Design / UI-UX Design
Year: 2024
Background
n Mexico and Peru, between 70% and 80% of startups fail within the first five years. Standing out and becoming a profitable business is a challenge for any startup, regardless of the industry. However, this challenge is even greater for eco-friendly startups.

Problem
The main causes of startup failure are lack of knowledge, limited funding, and insufficient support networks. Although there are accelerators in Latin America for various types of startups, their processes tend to be overly standardized and do not adapt to the context, development stage, or specific needs of each project. Additionally, access to capital and key contacts remains limited.

High-level goal
Support various types of startups, with a special emphasis on those with an eco-friendly focus, given that Latin America is home to 50% of the world's biodiversity. This will be achieved through a platform that provides entrepreneurs with access to personalized resources tailored to their specific context, enabling them to advance and strengthen their projects from anywhere.

My role
I participated in market research and analysis to identify which aspects of current products for entrepreneurs are effective and which are not. I also explored the context, needs, desires, challenges, and benefits of entrepreneurs to define our main objective. Finally, I contributed to the development of the business model.

4. Prototype
We decided to begin by prototyping the recommendation flow based on user preferences, allowing users to access courses tailored to their needs. Subsequently, we will develop the mentorship selection and profile flows where the gamification system can be visualized.
Method:
Mid fidelity prototype
5. Test
Objective:
Evaluate the product's usability to obtain feedback that would help us improve design and user experience.
Method:
Usability Testing with 4 real users
UI Kit
The project was initiated with the intention of exclusively supporting eco-friendly entrepreneurs. However, during the research process, we realized that this vision limited our ability to make it more accessible. Additionally, we discovered aspects that we had not initially considered, such as the critical need for mentorship among entrepreneurs. We also identified that the initial product wireframes were not understood as we had anticipated. Thanks to feedback from real users, we were able to develop a product that is truly user-centered. As next steps, the project requires further iterations and a thorough analysis of the business model to ensure its sustainability.
